The day it stopped snowing ...

New Year's Day was the last day of the Packwood family's skiing holiday, and the snow finally stopped meaning they could enjoy the views around them.  It seems like a long time ago that they were putting in their first turns on Les Tourchet beginners slopes, but it was only 4 years ago.  With 3 weeks skiing since then they are now crusing all the blues and some are enjoying the off-piste and doing laps on the Kandahar!  Everyone in the family made lots of progress this trip; they had to - the conditions meant that on some days the pistes were just like off-piste.  Over the 8 days there were plenty of personal achievements, giggles and laughter, no doubt tired legs at times and a few minor incidents on the poma lifts...
