Punta Croce

9th Mar 2013

Over the last 4 days I have been working with a group from the Wirral that have been coming to Chamonix for over 20 years.  I have split my time between different members of the group depending on their aspirations.

It was a pleasure to work with John again for the 7th year running.  He has come a long way since his first turns on Savoy back in 2006.  He is now making light work of the bumps in Lavancher Bowl at Les Grands Montets.

Today I was out with Nick and Paul who wanted to go on a ski tour to get away from the crowds.  It was also good preparation for their tour around Monta Rosa with Tim Blakemore in a few weeks time.  We headed through to Italy to Punta Croce.  We found untracked snow, not exactly light fluffy powder, but it was still good... Photos from the day have been posted here.
