Final courses of our Chamonix season - PLACES AVAILABLE

There are still a few places remaining on courses for 2017. Whilst there is little snow left below 2000m, and lift accessed off-piste is limited, the touring conditions in the high mountains are fantastic. Excellent weather and a stable snow pack means that the conditions are ideal for ski touring.
Last week our Chamonix Off-Piste & Mountain Skills course enjoyed fine conditions skiing the Vallée Blanche, taking the Skyway lift and practicing touring skills around Helbronner. Numerous descents were had from the top lift at Les Grands Montets (due to the small queues) and good cold snow was still found in the Grand Mur sector. On the final day we found a "secret powder stash" (shown in the photo) were with only a 100m skin we were able to ski fresh untracked powder, 5 days after it last snowed.
The progression course enjoyed a superb day ski touring on the less frequented Glacier des Rouges du Dolent and a spring snow descent of the classic Glacier de Toule.
