Mountain Professional for Jöttnar

jottnar-logo

I am delighted to be on Jöttnar's team of Mountain Professionals.  I am looking forward to a close collaboration, developing gear that lives up to my expectations. This season I will be wearing my custom-made Bergelmir for my outer shell, with the Alfar as my mid layer.  On the really cold days I'll be nice and cosy in my Fjörm down jacket.

"Jöttnar Mountain Professionals pass on their frontline experience in helping us create the exceptional gear that will soon bear the Jöttnar logo.  Their ideas and feedback allow us to focus on the demands of those who live and work amongst the mountains and to ensure that what we produce has been validated by the most challenging of users in the most demanding conditions."

Jöttnar has one aim: to produce the highest quality technical mountain sports wear in the world. It's ethos and focus are built upon its founders' experience as mountaineers and a core commitment to create equipment of exceptional quality and functionality. First and foremost, Jöttnar is about quality; quality of design, materials and craftsmanship.

Since Jöttnar's launch they have received outstanding reviews about all of their items of clothing. Read Style Altitude's insightful interview with Director Tommy Kelly here.

Testimonials

As soon as I put this jacket on it was clear that a lot of thought has gone into its design. Not only that, but from people who really know about being in the mountains. UK Climbing

The attention to detail is amazing, the stitch count is high. The laser cutting is precise and all the fittings are well thought out and high quality. Climbing Gear Reviews

A formidable system against the harshest of winter conditions. Overall, this is serious kit equal to the most serious of weather. UK Climbing

Using NeoShell instead of any other membrane is the key; the incredible breathability is not only noticeable, it's a pleasure to try and push its limits. Gear and Mountains

Our overall opinion for these pants was unanimous, and put simply we feel these are the best pants we have ever worn in the hills. Dave Garry
