The studio apartment is in the pretty alpine village of Les Houches, 5km to the west of Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France. In the shadow of Mont Blanc, Les Houches is surrounded by dramatic peaks and glaciers plunging into the valleys below. It offers rural charm whilst being close to Chamonix town and only 1 hour from Geneva airport.
Les Houches is a beautiful alpine playground year round, offering world famous skiing for all abilities in the winter, and endless scope for outdoor activities through the summer. It is worth a visit in the off season too, to enjoy all its beauty in peace and quiet outside of the main tourist season. The studio has proved a popular base for guides, ski instructors, climbers and families at all times of the year.

Location and Local Amenities
The studio is located in the St Antoine area of Les Houches. It is a 2 minute walk to the chemist, local pizzeria St Antoine and the newsagents. The supermarket is 2 minutes further along the road. There is a laundrette, various bars, doctors’ surgery, ski hire and servicing shop all within easy walking distance.
Further into the village there is the tourist office, bank and cash point, bakers, not forgetting the market very Monday morning with plenty of local fresh produce.
There is free wifi available at the Hotel Etoile des Neige which is just across the road from the apartment. Or head into the heart of Les Houches for free wifi at The Delice whilst sampling their excellent food and drink.

Winter Season: 8th Dec - 13th April (excluding peak times) 370 Euros per week
Winter Peak Season: 22nd Dec - 5th Jan and 9th Feb - 23rd Feb 460 Euros per week
Summer Season: 15th June - 21st September 320 Euros per week
Low Season: 13th April - 15th June 250 Euros per week
