New Lift for Les Grands Montets

We have been pleased to hear that the building of the new lift at Les Grands Montets is on schedule. Hopefully that means it will be open at the beginning of this coming season.
This long awaited development should see a huge reduction in the time taken to get on to the mountain (and mean that we no longer get oil dripped on us from the chairlift!). The new gondola will go from the base station at Les Grands Montets to 2100m, 200m above the mid station at Lognan. It will consist of 84, 10 person gondolas will the capacity of taking 3200 people per hour. It will be very similar to the lift at Brévent.
