We are aware that the Norwegian Directorate of Health has implemented travel restrictions and associated measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 today (12th March at 1800 hours).

This is an unprecedented crisis which appears to be escalating rapidly. We have been following the advice issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) as well as that of the local health authorities, who have been monitoring the situation closely.

Update 14 March 2020: Initial advice centred around visitors self isolating for 14 days, alongside various domestic measures including the suspension of outdoor activities / sports.

That advice has now changed to "The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises that travellers from countries outside the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Sweden) who are not residents of Norway will be asked to return.” Source: FCO.

Our normal terms and conditions will apply. Please bear with us while we seek clarification on the likely impact on our trips, we will be in touch with those affected directly.
