Chamonix Off-Piste & Ski Mountain Skills

The timing of the storm was perfect for this week's course. Good weather on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday gave the group time to hone their off-piste technique and avalanche skills in preparation for the snow that was due. Then on Thursday and Friday it was all go, with run after run of untracked powder.
Throughout the week we skied at Les Grands Montets, Les Contamines, St Gervais and Les Houches. Although Les Houches seemed busy whilst waiting for the lift, the skiers soon dispersed, and with a short skin, we were able to access some untracked meadows.
